Surf Lessons with qualified surf coaches
- All instructors are qualified coaches, surf life guards and highly skilled surfers.
- Arrival time must be 15 minutes before start of lessons.
"Introduction to Surfing" Group Lessons- daily at 10:30am and 3:00pm
- 2 hours of professional tuition.
- All equipment is provided; matched to the surfer for the day's conditions.
- Easy to learn surfing techniques, teaching board control, with information sheets to take home.
- Instruction on surf safety and ocean awareness.
- Instructors are in the water assisting with catching waves.
- Standing and surfing in the first lesson.
- $60 incl GST per person.
- $150 incl GST per person for three lesson package.
- $220 incl GST Family Pass - 2 Adults and 3 children.
"Intermediate & Advanced" Individual Lessons- daily at 8:00am, 1:00pm, 6:00pm
- 2 hours professional tuition.
- Perfect for getting you onto the next level or to improve technique.
- Use of out extensive range of high performance equipment included.
- Lessons tailored to meet your requirements.
- Video coaching available on request.
- $100 incl GST per person.
- $270 incl GST per person for three lesson package.
"After School" Group Lessons- Monday to Friday 5:30pm
- Designed for children aged 9 to 17 years.
- One evening a week for four weeks or by arrangement.
- $120 incl GST per person for a four lesson package.
Packages
- Three "Introduction to Surfing" lessons $150 incl GST per person.
- Three "Individual" lessons $270 incl GST per person.
- Four "After School" lessons $120 incl GST per person.

Muriwai Surf School currently coaches over twenty schools from the Auckland Region. Please contact us so we can customise a package to suit your needs.
All our coaches are qualified International Surfing Association (ISA) coaches and Surf Life Guards as well as holding work place First Aid Certificates.
