Coming out at the right tide this weekend should see you get some fun waves and there will be options for all levels! Smaller tides this weekend make the higher tide a bit more mellow than previous weekends.
Saturday 23rd November
Swell - 1.6 - 2m
Wind - 15knts SW
High Tide - 4.16pm
Low Tide - 9.56am
A medium size swell and on-shore winds don't look super appealing but I think you'll be surprised. The small tides mean it will be fun for beginners through all tides and progressive surfers should find more gentle unbroken waves on the high. Yes, it will be a bit messy but I think it will still be fun!
Beginners - Conditions will be fun and safe almost all day, my pick is around midday with the mid tide coming in.
Look Out!! The lower tide will have some current heading towards the rocks.
Advanced Beginners - With the smaller tides this weekend it's important you surf closer to the high to score the reforms. It should be more mellow than the previous weeks (due to the smaller tides). 2pm - 4pm is my pick.
Look Out!! The current heading towards the rocks will be strong and the rip by the rocks a must avoid!
Intermediates - For intermediate surfers I'd expect high tide to be the only option.
Look Out!! Hope for less wind on the higher tide and it could be good.
