Surf Report For Beginner & Intermediate Surfers 19th & 20th October

Possibly the forecast of the year!! If you're a surfer looking to progress the conditions this weekend will be perfect!

Beginner and Intermediate Surfers Weekend Surf Report
The dreamy conditions we're expecting this W/E

Saturday 19th October

Swell - 0.8m or 1 - 3ft

Wind - Moderate North Easterly (Offshore) winds

High Tide - 11.27am

Low Tide - 5.38pm

An amazing forecast but the timing on when you surf will still be important so you score the best waves for your level! High tide around midday will have the most punch so should be great for intermediate surfers but beginners should look for the mid tides!

Beginners - The best time for beginners will be dawn - 10am or 1pm onwards. I'd expect gentle waves at mid tide so that's your best option.

Look Out!! High tide will have have steep, powerful waves breaking close to the shore so avoid an hour either side if possible.

Advanced Beginners - There should be heaps of waves all day. Around both the low tide and high tide you can expect steeper waves. If the swell drops like it's supposed to it's the perfect weekend to try paddling out

Look Out!! If you're paddling out the back remember to use your surf etiquette.

Intermediates - Dreamy conditions! Make sure you find a bank with peeling waves!

Look Out!! Remember your surf etiquette!
