Muriwai Beach Surf Report For Beginner & Intermediate Surfers 22nd and 23rd November

It's looking like a really nice weekend for beginner and intermediate surfers! A midday high tide and light winds should mean heaps of fun waves for all levels. The water temp is starting to get up near 20 degrees so those of you that wait for summer and the warmer water, it's time to get out here.

Beginner and Intermediate Surfers Weekend Surf Report
There's been some fun surf recently!

Saturday 22nd November

Swell - 1.9m

Wind - Light southerly

High Tide - 11.34am

Low Tide - 5.45pm

Saturday looks like a really fun beach day with nice weather and waves. The surf will have a little across-shore wind on it, making it not perfectly glassy but still great for beginner and intermediate surfers on the mid to high tide.

Beginners - The high tide being just before midday means that the best beginner waves will be from about 8.30am - 4pm. Expect most of the day to be fun, there will be a bit more power in the waves on high tide 11am - midday.

Look Out!! Avoid the low tide from 4.30pm onwards.

Advanced Beginners - That morning mid to high tide is the go. 9am - 2pm should have the best opportunities for reforms.

Look Out!! Avoid the low tide from 4.30pm onwards.

Intermediates - The high tide will be your best bet. 10am - 2pm should have some fun waves in the middle zone.

Look Out!! If it's really sunny, the sand will be hot as!

Sunday 23rd November

Swell  - 1.7m - 1.6m

Wind  - Light south westerly onshore

High Tide - 12.09pm

Low Tide - 6.22pm

The swell drops off a little from Saturday and the wind is a tiny bit more onshore but I don't think that it will have too much of an effect on the surf. I'd expect the same as Saturday, really fun beginner conditions on the mid to high tide.

Beginners - Similar to Saturday that mid to high tide is the go! The best beginner waves will be 9am - 4pm (9.30am - 11.30am will be best, best).

Look Out!! Look out for the hot sand and the evening low tide.

Advanced Beginners - Hit the mid to high tide, 9.30am - 2pm.

Look Out!! Avoid low tide from 4.30pm onwards.

Intermediates - Same as advanced beginners, the mid to high will be best to find a fun reform.

Look Out!! Avoid the low tide from 4.30pm onwards.
