Surf Report For Beginner & Intermediate Surfers 10th & 11th January

Really nice looking forecast for beginners this weekend with small tides and light onshore winds. Expect a lot of fun white waters perfect for learning to surf. We have a few of our programmes starting this weekend (Beginner, Advanced Beginner and Intermediate) and we have one last minute space available in each. Get in touch to book!
Saturday 10th January
Swell - 1.4 - 1.6m
Wind - 9 - 12knts South
High Tide - 3.34pm
Low Tide - 9.24am
A medium size swell and light onshore winds should create great beginner waves on Saturday and then advanced beginner and intermediate surfers will find some unbroken waves on the higher tide in the arvo.
Beginners - Look for the mid to high tide and you will score great waves. Anytime from 11am onwards will be good but if you wait a little longer and go after 1pm it will be great learning conditions. Think gentle fluffy white water rolling to the beach.
Look Out!! There's been a little current heading north on the higher tide.
Advanced Beginners - Anytime after 1pm will have little reforms perfect for trying to get on to some unbroken waves.
Look Out!! Skip the lower tide.
Intermediates - Look to surf on the mid to high tide - 1pm onwards.
Look Out!! Skip the lower tide.
Sunday 11th January
Swell - 1 .3 - 1.4m
Wind - 6 - 10knts NW
High Tide - 4.27pm
Low Tide - 10.17am
Slightly lighter wind and from a better direction than Saturday should see fun conditions for all levels. Definitely don't expect pumping waves more just really fun beginner and intermediate conditions that are a little bit onshore.
Beginners - Pretty much the same as Saturday, The mid tide coming in will be the best. Midday onwards should be nice.
Look Out!! It will be a really safe day for learning, just avoid the low tide.
Advanced Beginners - Look for that arvo high tide. 1pm onwards will be the go.
Look Out!! Skip the lower tide in the morning.
Intermediates - High tide in the arvo looks best.
Look Out!! Skip low tide.
