Yay for the long weekend! The conditions look okay and there will still be some really fun beginner waves if you come at the right time.
Sorry I didn't get last weeks report out on our website and through our emails, I was away but I'll always get something on our socials if you don't already follow us here's our insta - @muriwaisurfschool

Saturday 25th October
Swell - 2.3m
Wind - 10 - 15knts South West
High Tide - 12.59pm
Low Tide - 6.54am
Saturday is my pick for the weekend with the lightest winds and nice sunny weather forecast.
Beginners - The mid tide coming in will probably be the best option (9am onwards). I also think it will be really nice just after high tide (2pm - 4pm). Expect really nice white water for learning!
Look Out!! Bang on high has had pretty powerful waves lately so if that's not your thing avoid 12.30pm - 1pm. The outgoing tide might be a bit dangerous after 5pm.
Advanced Beginners - The mid tide will be best, 9am - noon looks like it will have some nice little reforms.
Look Out!! The current has been strong if you're paddling around. Keep an eye on your marking on the beach.
Intermediates - Mid to high should have some good options, I'd be going in anytime from 11am - 2pm.
Look Out!! Keep an eye out for the current.
Sunday 26th October
Swell - 1.6m - 1.8m
Wind - 15 - 18knts West
High Tide - 1.22pm
Low Tide - 7.27am
Very similar to Saturday with a little more wind, if the wind is a little lighter than predicted then I think Sunday will be the best day this weekend. Summary is, if you wake up and the winds light it might be on!
Beginners - Like Saturday, 9.30am onwards should be best! Expect the odd powerful wave on the high tide (1pm - 2pm) so if you like your waves more mellow come out for 9.30am - 1pm.
Look Out!! Avoid the low tide in the evening, 5pm onwards.
Advanced Beginners - Again like Saturday, High tide will be really good. 10am - 2pm should be best.
Look Out!! Pick where you surf carefully and remember to keep an eye out for the current.
Intermediates - There will be fun options on the high tide.
Look Out!! The lower tide won't have much happening and might be gnarly so avoid it.
Monday 27th October
Swell - 2.2m
Wind - 15 - 30knts North West
High Tide - 1.59pm
Low Tide - 8.02am
At some point we will get a rest from these strong winds! The direction on Monday looks across shore so it might be cleaner than expected. There's a window of lighter wind in the morning so that will be the best option.
Beginners - 10am - 1pm is the best option.
Look Out!! Avoid the arvo.
Advanced Beginners - The morning with the lighter wind is the best choice (10am - 1pm).
Look Out!! Avoid the arvo.
Intermediates - Maybe there will be a grovel on the high tide (1pm - 3pm), could be good if the wind is lighter than forecast.
Look Out!! Avoid the arvo.
