Yeeeew! We’ve been waiting a long time for a smaller swell and some offshores! This weekend is looking like a really good one! Just because the conditions look good it’s still important to come out on the right tide.

Saturday 1st November
Swell - 1.4 - 1.6m
Wind - 9 - 12knts South
High Tide - 6.37am
Low Tide - 12.45pm
A lot smaller swell than what we’ve had for at least a month and light winds from the south should make for some fun waves. High tide at dawn or just before sunset mean that the waves will be best early morning or late afternoon.
Beginners - Look for the mid tides! 8am - 11am and 2pm - 6pm. I think low tide might be tricky but I’m sure you could still find a fun wave.
Look Out!! The current on the lower tide has been pretty difficult so try avoid just after midday.
Advanced Beginners - The same as beginners you can either go early or late.
Look Out!! Skip the lower tide.
Intermediates - With the light wind and low tide in the morning, anytime before midday could be fun.
Look Out!! Low tide might have step, hollow waves.
Sunday 2nd November
Swell - 1 .4 - 1.6m
Wind - 7 - 15knts NE
High Tide - 7.34am
Low Tide - 1.41pm
Great conditions on the way for Sunday! Around 1.5m swell and perfect offshore so it will be super fun for all levels!
Beginners - Pretty much the same as Saturday, The mid tide is the best bet! My pick is either 8am - 10am or 12pm - 2pm
Look Out!! It will be a really safe day for learning, just avoid the low tide.
Advanced Beginners - With the size of the swell, it could be good all day if you're confident paddling out the back. Mid tide will be the most mellow, with the high and low tides a little more powerful.
Look Out!! Skip the lower tide if you aren't a strong paddler.
Intermediates - There will be really fun waves all day!
Look Out!! Remember your surf etiquette.
