Beautiful looking conditions this weekend with clean offshore winds and a medium size swell. We have our last Advanced Beginner Programme and Intermediate Programme for the summer starting this weekend so get in quick if you want to join.

Saturday 28th February
Swell - 1.6 - 1.7m
Wind - 10 - 16knts East - North East
High Tide - 8.19am
Low Tide - 2.47pm
Perfect offshore winds and a good size swell mean that the conditions are looking great for all levels! The high tide in the morning makes it best until about midday for beginner and advanced beginner surfers. Intermediate surfers will have more flexibility and should have luck all day.
If you surf in the morning go check out the local boardridders surf comp at The Bay. It should be running from 8am until mid afternoon.
Beginners - First light through to about midday will be best or there will be another chance in the evening with the tide coming back in (5pm - dark).
Look Out!! The lower tide might be tricky (1pm - 4pm)
Advanced Beginners - High tide is the best option, either dawn or the arvo (6am - 10am or 6pm onwards).
Look Out!! Skip low tide.
Intermediates - If you're confident out the back with the swell size you should score some really good waves.
Look Out!! Low tide might be tricky.
Sunday 1st March
Swell - 1.5 - 1.3m
Wind - 9 - 14knts East
High Tide - 9.31am
Low Tide - 3.41pm
The swell is dropping off a little and the wind still is offshore so Sunday morning looks like the pick of the weekend for beginner and advanced beginner surfers.
Beginners - Again the surf will be best from early morning until about 1pm.
Look Out!! Look out for the low tide (2pm - 5pm)
Advanced Beginners - If you can get up early you’ll score great waves. Anytime before midday will be really fun!
Look Out!! Avoid the low tide.
Intermediates - It will be really good most of the morning on Sunday.
Look Out!! The wind might come up onshore in the arvo.
