Weekend Surf Report For Beginner & Intermediate Surfers 29th & 30th November

Light winds, warm water and sun forecast for the weekend. The low tide is late morning/midday so either early morning or late arvo will be best.
Saturday 29th November
Swell - 1.3 - 1.6m
Wind - 6 - 8knts South
High Tide - 5.21pm
Low Tide - 11.01am
Beautiful light winds and a medium size swell will mean there's some really good moments on Saturday. The high tide in the afternoon will mean it's best from 1pm onwards for most. If you like getting up early there will also be good waves before the tide drops out.
Beginners - First light through to about 9am will be really nice if you want to get up early. If that's not your style, the arvo from 1pm onward will probably be best. 2pm - 6pm is my pick for best beginner waves.
Look Out!! The lower tide 9am -1pm will be tricky if you're not in the right stop.
Advanced Beginners - High tide is the best option, either dawn or the arvo (6am - 9am or 2pm onwards).
Look Out!! Skip low tide.
Intermediates - The lighter wind early with the tide is my pick but you might find fun waves anytime.
Look Out!! Low tide will be tricky.
Sunday 30th November
Swell - 1.7 - 2.1m
Wind - 4 - 20knts North
High Tide - 6.02am & 6.25pm
Low Tide - 12.06pm
More swell on Sunday so advanced beginner and intermediate surfers will be hunting some reforms. The morning will be really glassy with the light wind from the north.
Beginners - Lighter winds in the morning, so if you’re keen to get up early it will be good (6am - 10am). The arvo will have the best tide but there might be a bit more wind (2pm onwards).
Look Out!! Look out for the low tide (11am - 2pm)
Advanced Beginners - If you can get up early you’ll score good waves. The other option is the arvo but expect a bit more wind.
Look Out!! Avoid the low tide.
Intermediates - It could be really good early Sunday.
Look Out!! Low tide might be too gnarly.
